This image of Julie that Ian as captured whilst he was working part of the camera crew, gives the viewer a insight into the craft of film making, as you can see the man on the left as a tape measured, he is measuring the focus from the camera plane to David’s eye, this really skillful job is called “focus puller”.
The man behind the camera is David Odd, Cinematographer, Ian was part of David’s camera crew for two years before he went on to become a Director of Photography within TV and Film
