Description

Bold, raw and unfiltered, this Colombian street mural captures a moment of primal energy. The central figure — eyes wide, mouth agape in a scream or cry — is framed by surreal elements: cotton-like curls and a vibrantly perched bird nestled among crimson feathers. The intense yellow of the eyes draws you in, hinting at warning, resistance or perhaps madness.

A rich red “82” looms in the background, anchoring the portrait in a cultural or historical context, while the layered textures of the wall add depth and grit to the piece. Ian Livesey’s lens finds the mural’s pulse, immortalising its power and presence.
