This collection of very rare images of Status Quo was taken by Ian whilst he was working on the Channel Four documentary “On the road with Status Quo”
Ian form a closes relationship with the band and Simon Porter the bands manager and was given access all areas whist we was on the road with band these images show the fans a insight into that as never been seen before.
The band loved the film crew that much they asked them to shoot their latest pop video “Jam Side Down” on the HMS Arc Royal sailing across the Mediterranean Sea.
Ian was hanging out of the Merlin Helicopters filming over sea to capture the band performing just in front of ski-jump ramp on the flight deck of HMS Arc Royal.
